Settle permanently

Permanent Residence

Permanent residence is rarely one application — it's a sequence of decisions about programs, timing, and score strategy. We assess every route you actually qualify for, from Express Entry and category-based draws to provincial nomination, and prepare the strongest possible file at each stage. Selection and approval decisions belong to IRCC and the provinces.

Who it's for

  • Skilled workers abroad or in Canada weighing Express Entry against provincial streams
  • Temporary workers and graduates converting Canadian experience into a Canadian Experience Class application
  • Candidates whose CRS score sits below recent cut-offs and who need a score strategy
  • French speakers and workers in healthcare, trades, education, and other category-draw occupations
  • Applicants invited to apply who need the e-APR done right within the deadline
  • Families coordinating PR with spousal work permits, children's schooling, and travel

Common scenarios

Below the CRS cut-off

Your score is real but not competitive in general draws. We map the levers — language retesting, French, spousal factors, more experience, provincial nomination's 600 points — and rank them by feasibility.

Category-based opportunity

Your occupation or French ability may fit a category-based draw with a lower effective threshold. We verify your work history against the category definitions before you rely on it.

Invitation in hand, 60-day clock running

An ITA is a deadline, not a decision. We compile the proof — employment letters, funds, police certificates, medicals — so the electronic application survives a completeness and credibility review.

Evidence checklist

  • Language test results (IELTS, CELPIP, PTE Core; TEF/TCF Canada for French)
  • Educational credential assessment (ECA) for foreign education
  • Employment reference letters stating title, dates, hours, salary, and NOC-matched duties
  • Proof of settlement funds where required (FSW/FST), with source documentation
  • Passports, birth and marriage certificates for every family member
  • Police certificates from every country lived in for six months or more since age 18
  • Upfront immigration medical exam confirmation
  • Provincial nomination certificate, if applying through a PNP stream

Exact requirements vary by program and profile — treat this as a planning baseline, not advice on your specific file.

Process overview

Full-route assessment

We calculate your CRS accurately, test you against FSW, CEC, FST, and category-draw criteria, and screen relevant provincial streams — before choosing a strategy.

Score and profile optimization

We sequence improvements — language retests, credential assessments, experience milestones — and build a complete, honest Express Entry profile.

Invitation-stage application

On ITA or nomination, we prepare the full e-APR: evidence, forms, and explanations for anything an officer might question, filed within the deadline.

Post-submission management

We handle additional document requests, updates to family or employment circumstances, and portal steps through to confirmation of permanent residence.

Risks & common mistakes

Claiming work experience your reference letters can't support.

Officers verify duties against the NOC, and misrepresentation carries a five-year ban. Only claim experience you can document, and get letters that describe duties in detail.

Treating the CRS cut-off as static.

Cut-offs move with draw sizes and categories. Strategy should be built on ranges and multiple routes, not on one hoped-for draw.

Missing the 60-day ITA deadline or filing an incomplete e-APR.

Incomplete applications are rejected, and the ITA is lost. Start collecting police certificates and reference letters before you're invited, not after.

Letting temporary status expire while waiting for PR.

A PR application does not maintain your status in Canada. We run status strategy — extensions, bridging open work permits where eligible — in parallel.

Get a realistic map of every PR route open to you.

Every file starts with an honest assessment: what you qualify for, what the evidence needs to show, and what the realistic timeline looks like. We prepare the strongest possible application — and we're direct with you about risk, because the final decision on every application rests with the officer, never with us.
